Carbs Aren’t Out to Get You (Promise)
Carbs have been getting a bad rap for years—kind of like blaming traffic for being late when we all know you just hit snooze too many times. But here’s the thing... carbs aren’t the villain they’ve been made out to be.
Cutting carbs completely might seem like the magic answer, but let’s be honest—how long can you really go without bread, pasta, or that occasional donut? (Answer: Not long.)

Truth is, carbs aren’t the problem. Eating too much of anything is. And guess what? Your body actually needs carbs to function. They fuel your workouts, your brain, and your ability to get off the couch without feeling like a zombie.
So instead of fearing carbs, let’s rethink how we use them:
Eat carbs that work for you. Whole grains, fruits, and veggies are great choices. And yes, you can still have pizza—just not every day (sorry).
Pair carbs with protein. This combo keeps you full and helps prevent that mid-afternoon energy crash.
Quality over quantity. The right carbs in the right amounts will help you hit your goals, not ruin them.
A study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition found that well-timed carb intake can actually enhance fat loss and performance—so yeah, carbs are pretty awesome when used right.
Bottom line? Carbs aren’t evil. They’re just misunderstood. The key is balance, not deprivation.
